Photo Contest
to find the Cutest Pug in Arizona!

Our
winner receives a free bath and groom from staff at Paws Resort
& Spa in preparation for a photo shoot from PetShots
Photography. The Cutest Pug will be featured in an upcoming issue
of Arizona Pug Corner, and on APARN’s 2008 Christmas Card,
and of course retains bragging rights for a full year!And something new this year,
there’s also a $50 Gift Card for mom or dad to take their
prize winning pug on a shopping spree!
NEW this year APARN’s Cutest Pugs Calendar: In
addition, our winner will be featured on the cover of APARN’s
Cutest Pugs Calendar, where the Top 12 pugs from the contest will
represent January through December!The calendar will be for
2009, and will be available via PDF download at no charge,
beginning in December.
How it
works:
Digital photos will
be accepted from May 1-May 31st.
APARN's Panel of
Judges will narrow down the submissions and post the candidates
on the website.
Voting begins June
1st, and each vote costs a $1 donation, payable via PayPal.After a one week voting period,
the 24 top (made up of the top 12 males and top 12 females) will
move on to Phase Two!
Beginning with Phase
Two on June 8th, the competition heats up! Each week,
beginning June 15th, we will eliminate one male and one female
pug, based on the lowest numbers of votes.
Phase Three will
begin on August 17th, with the final four pugs in fierce
competition for the top spot! From this point on, only one pug
will be eliminated each week, male or female, until only the
Cutest Pug remains! Winner will be announced online on September
7th.
Official
Guidelines:
·Digital submissions should be emailed to ArizonaPugRescue@yahoo.com,
and must include the pug's name and age, as well as the owner's name
and email address.
All entries must be
received via email no later than May 31st.
There is no fee to
enter; however, you may not enter more than one photo of the
same pug.
You do not need to
live in Arizona to enter or to
win; however, the certificate for both the Grooming package and
the Photography package are redeemable only in Phoenix, AZ.
You may vote as
often and as many times as you like! Vote donations
are submitted via PayPal. Your voting donations go to help pay
for medical bills for APARN's foster pugs.
