Adoption Application
Age:
8
weeks old
Hi my name is Clara and I'm 8
weeks old, and my foster mom
says I'm the cutest thing ever!
I currently weigh in at 2.5lbs,
so I 'm probably going to be on
the smaller side when I grow up.
I was told I'm all pug, but have
a little longer nose, so I might
not be the best bred puggie on
the block, but I think I am
adorable! In fact, I might have
to enter the Cutest Pug Contest!
I love to play with all the
other rescue pugs in my foster
home, even the older ones that
don't want me to. I'm sure I can
convince them that playing is
fun, and should be done quite
often!
I almost forgot, my foster mom
keeps telling everyone that I
have something called "stenotic
nares" which means I have
pinched nostrils, a common
genetic problem found most
commonly in brachycephalic dogs
like pugs. I will have to have
surgery in about 6 weeks to help
me breathe better, right now I
gasp for air when I get too
excited.
In every other way I'm perfect,
or so my foster mom says, but
some of the other foster pugs
told me that foster mom says
they are perfect too. I think
they are just jealous!
Update:
7/25/08 Clara
will have her stenotic nares
surgery
My adoption fee is $300, and if
you are also willing to pick up
the cost of my stenotic nares
surgery, both me and APARN would
be very grateful!

APARN has taken in 60 pugs so far this year
(from January
1st to May 6th). Won't you please
consider making a monetary donation to help us give these pugs
the care they need? |
|
We may have more dogs than are shown on this page, and dogs are coming in regularly so please submit an application and get on our list! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered. Our adoption process begins with submitting an application. We will try to respond to your application in a timely matter, but please remember that we are all volunteers, and often get backed up.
