HAYLIE - Adopted by Harvey and Sue Steinacher
Fill out our Adoption Application
Age: 3 yrs

Likes: Cuddling with her people and being held like a baby. Haylie is a very loving pug and requires quite a bit of attention, but she’s getting much better and is showing signs of independence. Before coming into foster care, Haylie hadn’t spent much time with other dogs or in a yard. Now she’s playing with her foster brothers and sisters and is taking on the great lawn! She also loves her food and could stand to lose a couple pounds as she’s a very small pug.

Dislikes: Not being the center of attention. She’ll let you know by pawing at your leg! Haylie would do best in a home where her family can devote lots of love and attention to her.

Medications: None

Other specifications: Haylie is working on potty training and came to APARN fully trained on potty pads. She will not mark anywhere except the pads. She’s learning to use the dog door and will have the pads outside until learning the yard is the pace to go.

Why turned in to rescue: Haylie’s family had twin babies and realized they could not devote the time that she needed. Haylie has been well taken care of and is a healthy little girl. She does have a little separation anxiety, but it’s diminishing as she learns that she is in a happy home with people and pugs who love her.

Haylie's adoption fee is $250.

ADOPTION PROCESS

Would you like to fill out our adoption application? Please go to our adoption page and fill out the application!

APARN has taken in 60 pugs so far this year (from January
1st to May 6th).    Won't you please consider making a  monetary donation to help us give these pugs the care they need?

We may have more dogs than are shown on this page, and dogs are coming in regularly so please submit an application and get on our list! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered. Our adoption process begins with submitting an application. We will try to respond to your application in a timely matter, but please remember that we are all volunteers, and often get backed up.
