ZIGGY  -  Adopted by Alice Mendoza

Age: 5 years old

Likes: I love sleeping right next to my mom and following my dad everywhere. I’m a real people lover! I get along fine with other dogs and don’t have to be the “dog in charge.” I prefer being with my people family most of all. I like jumping on my mom’s lap and cuddling. I also love to give kisses and more kisses and more kisses. I enjoy going on a walk and to the dog park with my foster family. I am a sweet, affectionate pug looking for a family who I can love and who will love me back.

Dislikes: I am an easy going pug and don’t have any strong dislikes. I just want to be loved.

Medications: I am healthy and up to date on all of my shots. I got a full dental cleaning when I came to APARN.

Other specifications: I like to lay on the arm of the sofa in the family room but my foster dad is trying to break me of the habit. My foster mom says that I have the most beautiful eyes. I can use the doggy door and sit on command. I may look big in these pictures but it’s my foster mom’s fault. (Her pictures make me look five pounds heavier.) I only weigh 23 lbs.

Why turned into rescue: My family said that I had a marking issue. My new foster mom and dad are training me not to mark inside (or at least mark less frequently) so that I can find a home with my own forever family. (My foster family is patient and I can tell that they love me even though I haven’t completely quit marking.)

Ziggy's adoption fee is $250.

ADOPTION PROCESS

Would you like to fill out our adoption application? Please go to our adoption page and fill out the application!

APARN has taken in 60 pugs so far this year (from January
1st to May 6th).    Won't you please consider making a  monetary donation to help us give these pugs the care they need?

We may have more dogs than are shown on this page, and dogs are coming in regularly so please submit an application and get on our list! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered. Our adoption process begins with submitting an application. We will try to respond to your application in a timely matter, but please remember that we are all volunteers, and often get backed up.
