Adoption Application
Several
weeks ago, APARN rescued the parents of these puppies: a pregnant
pug/dauschund female and a pug mix male (Fenix).
The
puppies were born a couple of weeks later, and are now six weeks old.
They have had their first set of shots. They are eating dry food. They are teething and love to chew on toys, tails, puppy ears and legs, and human fingers and clothing. They are all healthy and have been given a clean bill of health by the
vet. Adoption fee for the puppies is $300 each.

TOOTSIE: The first born male, he has
the darkest coloring of the litter. Very
sweet, loving, gives lots of kisses and
snuggles, good with children and other dogs.
Most mellow disposition of litter.
Inquisitive but can be shy. He loves people
and cries when he sees a person because he
wants to be held. Has short dachshund legs
like his mother. ADOPTED
by the Kosters. |
ROLLO:
The second born male. He is playful, loves
stuffed animal toys, plays a lot with his
siblings - especially his sisters. Is okay
with the alpha females in the litter. Good
with children. Loves being held. He has a
dark butterfly pattern on his back and
longer legs like his father.

RUTH:
The
second born female, Ruth is very confident and inquisitive.
She loves to play with her siblings. Can hold her own with her big brothers and isn't scared of taking on the larger boys. Wants to be held and give kisses whenever possible. Good with children. Curious about big dogs. She hops and leaps when playing. She also has the short dachshund legs like her mother.
(Foster family calls her J-Lo because of her big booty!)

SKITTLES:
The
third born female. Born last and smallest of the litter. Loves to be held and will fall asleep in your arms, especially if you let her burrow her head under our elbow. She has a cow lick on the back of her neck that looks like a mohawk. She's very gentle and sweet when playing with the other
puppies, and loves kids. She's the first to leave a fight and go sleep in the corner.

consider making a monetary donation to help us give these pugs
the care they need? |
|
We may have more dogs than are shown on this page, and dogs are coming in regularly so please submit an application and get on our list! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered. Our adoption process begins with submitting an application. We will try to respond to your application in a timely matter, but please remember that we are all volunteers, and often get backed up.
