In memory of the special friends who have
touched our hearts and made our lives that much better.
LILO
Lilo
was a little pug that came out of the county shelter with a
wound on her face and a head tilt in the summer of 2007.
She was my very first foster, we bonded quickly, and I
adopted her. After a trip to the Veterinary Neurological
Center, we found out she had a very infected ear, and a
surgeon ended up removing the entire inner ear due to severe
damage. Lilo had some aggression issues and bit a few times,
but she did respond well to a behavior trainer for awhile.
In mid-February, her aggression escalated, and she attempted
to bite a child. Due to the e-collar she had on, she wasn't
able to do the damage that could have been done. Lilo tried
to attack unprovoked, and wouldn't stop. The following day,
I made a hard decision, and sent Lilo to the Rainbow Bridge.
I loved her very much and will miss her dearly. She was my
best friend. - Renae Knobbe.
