GRIFFEN On 10-3-2004, we signed adoption papers for Griffen.  Somewhere early in his short life he was severely injured, resulting in fractures to both upper and lower jaw.  He came to us living only in today, and no sign that past injuries were going to slow him down.  Today, 8-14-2006, Griffen was suddenly taken from us.  We will never know why, but we do know he will always have a place in our hearts.  He was always the one causing mischief, always quick to start a full speed chase with the other dogs across the furniture, always the first to lick your face when you got close, always the one you could count on to leave you without any extra room on the couch or bed.  When we look at the dog bed in the morning and don’t see two pugs cuddled up to one another, this home will always be a lonelier place.  We miss you Griffen.
