A is for Agatha, that was me, you see
G is for grateful as can be
A is for APARN who took me in
T is for thankful, considering the shape I was in
H is for hopeful, for all pugs to come
A is for always relying on APARN to provide a save foster home
A is for adventure, my life with APARN was fun
P is for parting, I did not want to go
A is for application, rainbow bridge accepted me you know
R is for recovery, for my pain and sickness is gone
N is for now, I am having so much fun
P is for playing all day long in the sun
U is for unbearable, the pain in foster moms heart
G is for giving me such a nice home to start
So foster mom don’t worry about me, my tail is curled, my blindness gone and now I can see
Take care of other homeless, unwanted pugs like me.
