Hi there! My name is Aloo, that means “Potato.” I don’t know why, but my people thought I looked like a potato, and they found out the Hindi Urdu word for potato is Aloo, so that is how I got my name!

I am about ten years old. I am up to date on my vaccinations, heart worm negative, just had my teeth cleaned….(I have the prettiest teeth ever)....and I am very healthy. Foster mom thinks I need to lose 2 pounds (I think foster mom needs to lose a couple pounds too. I get along with everyone….even kitties!

I would prefer to have someone home during the day because I LOVE the attention of the people in my house….I do fine in an ex-pen during the night and while my foster mom is out running errands. I love going for walks, and walk nicely on the leash.

At this time, my foster mom has a belly band on me during the day while I am out an about with everyone in the house.

I am definitely not an alpha pug, and would be fine in a home who already has one of those.

I love to have my tail scratched and my tummy rubbed….when my foster mom does this I start moving all four legs and she laughs because it looks like I am running, except I am lying on my back. Then I start making puggy noises and it is the funniest thing ever.

I’d like to get to my new home as soon as possible. Please come to the next adoption event and look for me.
