Atari
I've been Adopted!

Update:
March 8, 2010
Atari has figured out the doggy door, and so is completely independent. He just loves going to the dog park and mixing it up with the other dogs there; he greets every person he sees, and is a wonderful ambassador for APARN! His favorite perch is on the back of the couch, where he snuggles into the blanket and gnaws on a bone or toy while staying above the fray. He’s always ready to go out, especially if it involves a ride in the car, but he’s also content to doze beside his foster brothers until treats are offered.
Atari is a 7 year old male, large boned, and nicely trim.
He is sweet natured, calm, and friendly toward everyone. Despite losing an eye in a confrontation with another, larger dog, he seems completely unafraid of larger dogs in the dog park.
He walks well on a leash, sleeps contentedly in a kennel, and is happy to be at your feet or on the couch. He plays with other dogs’ toys, and occasionally wants to play.
He hasn’t figured out the doggy door, but goes out when invited to take care of business. He gets along with the other dogs in the household. What a lovely and happy boy!
