Hi, my name is Barry. Or as the foster mom here calls me, Barry Scrumptious.

I’ve been in rescue for a long time. You see, I had all these health issues to get cleared up. First I had to have an eye removed, then my good eye developed an ulcer. My skin was really, really icky and I had chronic ear infections. Well, we got all that stuff cleared up, and now my fur is very, very soft and I’m ready to move on to my new home. I do have some things you’ll have to help me with though.

The vet figured out that I do have very severe allergies, but it is under control with daily medicine. I will also need eye drops in my eye. I will need this medicine for the rest of my life. It’s really no big deal. Just pop the pills in my kibble and they will disappear right before your eyes!

I am a very easy going fellow. I love to be outside and love to hang out where ever you are. My favorite thing is to snuggle with you on the couch while you watch TV and snuggle in bed at night. If you are busy, that’s ok, I will hang out on a dog bed close by. I love toys and am a very happy fellow. I do fine with cats and my foster brothers and sisters. Like I said, I am a pretty laid back fellow and would make someone a fabulous companion. Are you the home for me?
