Bentley

I've been Adopted!

Read my story...

Hi, my name is Bentley and I’m an energetic and sweet little 1yr old.

I was surrendered to APARN by my previous owner because he was unable to care for me any longer. I’ve had a rough start to life and wasn’t treated very nicely in the past, but I love foster care and am learning to trust humans and enjoy the rewards of my good behavior.

I was an only dog in my previous home and I think that was the reason I acted up a little. I should probably go to a forever home with at least one other dog to play with as I’m such high energy. I could also benefit from some training classes as I’m very puppy-like in nature and don’t focus for too long. Hey, it’s hard when I have so many buddies and toys in my new foster home! I like to spend my days charging around the yard with my foster brothers and sisters, chewing my chew toys on the couch, and doling out all the kisses and cuddles that my foster parents can handle.

I’m a really loving little guy. I get along great with kids and cats too, although I might accidentally knock down a young child, so I should go to a home with kids over the age of 6-7.

I’m learning to settle down and take naps when everyone else in the house does, and I sleep through the night like a champ with my other foster brothers and sisters. I’m potty trained and know how to use the dog door. I had my neuter, vaccinations, and microchip last week, so I’m all ready for adoption.

The vet gave me a clean bill of health so I’ll be at the next APARN adoption event. Please come out to meet me and fill out the adoption application on the website letting APARN know you’re interested in me!
