Hi, my name is Brutis. I am a very gentle and affectionate boy, fit and healthy.

My foster mom is new to the job but that’s OK because I’ve been here before. Not my fault. Darn economy! My people couldn’t keep me. So…It’s my job to train foster mom…I stand by the pantry door where the food is kept trying to let her know I should eat at least six times a day or have a cookie treat often. I am also trying to teach her that I should sleep on her bed at night.  I’m not sure she’s buying it because I’ve been spending the night on the floor in my doggie bed. And she tells me I am the perfect weight for my perfect size so she can’t give me cookies as often as I would like.

I have a favorite toy friend called Mr. Pony (stuffed animal) that has been with me forever, at least for the past five years or more. It is a fine pillow when I nap and is my play toy. It makes me feel safe and not quite so lonely.

I use a doggie door, play well with other dogs (I don’t remember how I feel about cats) and I’m very good with children, I’ve been told. I am calm and loving and snuggly. No one would ever guess I’m 9 years old.

So… If you want a very loving, quiet, calm, sweet boy, please pick me because I really, really want a forever and ever home.

p.s. If you scratch my back, I’ll give you an hour to stop. I love it sooooo much !
