Hi everybody!
Is there anyone out there looking for a sweet, well behaved, 7 year old, potty trained boy? I sure hope so because that would be me – Bucky.
You see my owner passed away. It was very sad for me. I was the only dog and received all the attention. Imagine how I felt when I was brought to foster mom’s house with her five other pugs. I was so afraid. I would run and hide all of the time. But you know what; they were all so nice to me. I think they knew I was sad. It was so nice of them to take me in. I am not sad anymore. Now I come out and greet foster mom when she comes home from work just like they do. I guess it’s the proper thing to do.
Greeting is just one of the new things I have learned. I am learning things like going for walks, playing with other dogs, meeting neighborhood dogs, etc. I have even seen cats but I got to tell you, I am not too impressed with them – they seem a little stuck up if you know what I mean.
Foster mom says I have such good qualities. You see I will play with toys for hours at a time. I have so much fun pulling them out of the toy box.
I am also potty trained. I come in the doggie door, but for some reason I do not like to go out the doggie door. I think it’s because the others always get there first and the flap hits me in the face. No worries though – I wait until foster mom comes home and then I go out and take care of my personal business. With this good quality, I might be a fine pug for someone living in an apartment or condo.
I love to cuddle, preferably right next to you.
Won’t you call APARN and see how you can meet me? You see, Thanksgiving is coming up. Even though I am grateful for APARN taking me in, I would be even more grateful if I could be in my forever home soon. We could share the holidays together.
