Hi! I’m Buster and I am a sweet 5 year old, soft teddy bear of a pug!
I’m still getting settled into my foster house, so I’ve been a little shy, but every day I’m feeling more comfortable and coming out of my shell at little more.
My hobbies? I love to hang out with my people and get in a snuggle or pet whenever I can. You should feel my coat! I am sooooo soft I promise you’ll just want to keep petting me! I love to go for walks too. My foster mom said I’m quite athletic. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds cool! I like to keep a good quick pace on a walk. When my foster pug brothers slow down, I just pull them along. There’s no time for dilly-dallying on a walk! I also have to say I enjoy finding hiddey-spots around the house (under tables and the such) – my foster mom adds a blankie, and BINGO – instant fort for any respectable pug!
I don’t really play with toys or chewies. I like to play more with my foster mom. I run in circles while she chases me around – it’s SO much fun!
More about me? My foster mom says I can be a little obstinate, but I like to think of myself as an independent free-thinker. I do know how to sit, and some other commands, but like a typical pug, sometimes I just don’t feel like doing them. For a good treat though, I’ll do pretty much anything.
I’m fine around the other dogs in the house, but don’t really play with them; they play a little rough for me. I am beginning to use them at night to snuggle against. They keep me nice and warm. My foster mom says she thinks I would be fine in a home with cats, and would prefer older children – just because sometimes I can still be a little shy.
I’m working on not going potty in the house. There is no doggie door in my foster home, so I’m learning the schedule to go outside. I’m really smart though, so I think I’ll catch on pretty quickly.
So that’s a little bit about me – Buster the pug. Do we sound like a good match? If so, come meet me – I’d love to get to know you!
