“Once upon a time, there was a darling little pug named Chandler, who everyone believed was once a Prince. His foster mom said he was the sweetest, most well-behaved pug in all the land! He would sit for treats, and stand in line quietly waiting when it was time to eat. He loved to sit in a chair at the dinner table to keep his people company, but he never begged for food. He would sleep in his nice comfy doggy crate, but because his foster dad insisted he sleep in the big bed with everyone else, he was happy to comply.”

Hi, that’s me in that fairytale! And do you want to know a secret? It’s not just a fairytale, it is all true! That’s right, every word of it! I am a prince of a pug, young and well mannered, and well bred. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying anything bad about all the other pugs, I am just saying that I am a cut above the rest!

I give kisses and loves to snuggle. I am a very active pug and I like to go for brisk walks, especially in the morning and in the evening. I get along well with the other pugs in my foster home, and I like kids too. I am not sure about cats, as there aren’t any in my foster home. Foster mom says I am a quiet boy and hardly ever bark, even when the other pugs are barking. (Of course I must say that sometimes they bark over nothing!)

I really enjoy the good life – you know, a pampering bath and massage afterwards. In my spare time I like to chew on bones and play with stuffed toys. I also love a good game of tug of war with my younger foster brother. I will never turn down tug of war! And I usually win! After playing, I like to to curl up on the couch and watch TV with whichever foster parent is available for snuggling. I am a pretty smart boy, and will go to the back door to let you know I have to go potty.

All in all, I have to say, I am a fast learner and I really try to please. I just love to be with my humans. I will follow you around the house, sitting down patiently until it is time to move on to the next room. Oh, and did I mention I love to go for rides in the car?

Foster mom says I am one very special boy, and I deserve the best! I know she would love for me to stay with her, but she knows her calling is to foster, so she is willing to let me go as long as I go to a home where I will be treated like the Prince she knows I am!
