Read my story...

Hi everyone. My name is Charlie. I am a four month old little boy with a big attitude! I am currently staying with my foster mom and four other pugs, and some of them have no desire to play with me, can you believe that?

Foster Mom is always complaining about losing weight. I gave her the chance a couple of times by running out the door when it was open but she said that is not good and that I have to learn puggie manners. (I think that that is her excuse for not getting enough exercise). Nevertheless, I have been minding Foster Mom.

I have been learning to sit, how to walk on a leash properly (apparently that does not include wrapping the leash around mom’s legs!), how to eat politely and most importantly, how to use the doggie door. Sometimes, since I am a little guy, the doggie door knocks me down, but Foster Mom says she is proud of me because I am trying. It can be hard when you have to push through something that weighs more than you do!

My pug roommates have been very helpful as well in making sure that I am a well rounded, well behaved pug. The alpha girl here doesn’t tolerate a lot of hi-jinx; I think she forgets that she was a puppy once!

I hope to meet someone who is willing continue my training. It is just a matter of time until I have it right all the time.

Please come to an event to meet me soon as I would like to settle in and be a member of the family in time for my first Christmas! I heard that there is this guy named Santa who might have a present or two for me!
