Hi, I’m Chevy.

Just like the name, I’m strong and tough and I will steal your heart away! I’m a twenty-pound powerhouse. No one would believe that I’m eleven years old. I have a slim and trim frame and can keep up with you. Because of my age, I have a bit of a cataract on my eye but it doesn’t slow me down a bit. Healthy as can be, I don’t have any medical problems and take no medication.

You will find me a gentleman in the house – no mistakes for me. I can use the doggie door and love going for walks. When I ride in the car I really like to supervise the driving but I will stay on my side if you remind me my legs are too short to reach the peddles. I used to sleep in my crate but now I just curl up with the other boys on a bed near foster mom and snooze the night away. You will get a laugh when you see me beg… I just rest my chin on foster dad’s leg to let him know I’m ready if he wants to share whatever his snack happens to be.  Looking up with my big brown eyes helps too…

I can’t remember if I like cats but I’m sure I would be very nice around children. Let’s meet and see how that goes.
