I've been Adopted!
Adopted: January 2011Click on pug picture for larger image

Hey there, my name is Chopper and I am 4 years old, what a name huh? Not sure why they named me Chopper, I don’t look like a helicopter or a great white?
My foster mom says she is going to tie a mop to my back end so I can help her wash the floors, because I am so happy when I wag my tail my whole butt swings. Foster mom says that I have to be one of the happiest boys she has ever
fostered, and that includes her own pug!
I have lost my vision, and with losing my vision I have also lost an eye. I have the other one, but it doesn’t work. Now don’t be afraid to come and meet me, heck we really don’t use our sight as much as everyone thinks, it’s our noses that work the hardest.
My foster families pug is blind and lost both of his eyes, now I can’t see what he looks like, but I listen to my foster mom go on and on about him and blind dogs. She loves to watch us when we first come to her house, because she loves
the way we memorize the room and know where everything is, the only down side is that you can’t rearrange your furniture a million times.
I get a long great with all the other pugs in the house, both male and female, both young and old. I am happiest when I am sitting beside you or laying next to you on the couch.
Foster mom says I am pretty special and it will take a special person to come and want to adopt me. I got a little scared when she said that, but then she said she has had a lot of blind ones come through and they have all found that special home.
Please come and see for yourself how very special I am, oh by the way she has me on a diet so I don’t get seconds on my meals.
