My name is Churro…

Yes, I’m as sweet and spicy as those yummy treats. Maybe they named me that because my ears are more the color of cinnamon instead of the dark black you might expect. The rest of me matches just fine as you can see from my picture. I’m told I have the nicest softest fur. That’s good because I do love to snuggle on your lap. Although I weigh about twenty-six pounds, I’m slim and trim.

You will also find I’m full of vim and vigor, playfulness and mischief, too. My foster mom says sometimes I’m five years old, going on puppy. I swear I thought that shoe was there for my entertainment. Foster mom said ‘No way’.

Although I came into a house full of foster brothers, I quickly learned that I had better use the doggie door if I had to do any marking. I’ve learned my lesson very nicely and the belly bands were put away after a day or two.

When you look at my picture, I’m not exactly winking. I had to have my eye removed because of something called ‘hairy eye’. All I know is that I feel a lot better and it didn’t slow me down a bit.

Do I like cats? What’s a cat? I don’t remember. I am sure I would be very nice around older children because I love everyone!

I get along with my foster brothers and am learning that I have to share petting times. OK, so I got a little jealous at first. Now I know better. When I get to my forever home, I know I will feel more secure. I want to stop all this moving around. Can you find a spot for me at your place?
