Hi, my name is Dana, and I am about 7 years old, and a small girl, just 17 pounds. I recently came to APARN because I was on the euthanisasia list at the shelter.

My former owners dropped me off there when I got sick. The APARN volunteers rescued me and took me right to the vet. Everyone was afraid I might have something bad, but it turns out all I needed was some medication, so I should be fully recovered by the end of September.

Here’s what you should know about me. I am a lover! I love to give lots of kisses to my people and snuggle next to them when sleeping. My foster mom says that she loves the way that I curl up next to her and fall right to sleep. I am what they call a ‘velcro’ pug, because I stick right to my people, just like velcro! I will follow them from room to room and always want to be with my people, even if they aren’t doing anything too exciting.

I get along well with other dogs in my foster home. I’m fully house trained, know how to use a doggy door and am familiar with a crate. I’ll go right in my crate if I need to in order to travel. I don’t bark but I get really excited when my family comes home, and run around them in circles.

I can’t wait to find my forever family - maybe that’s you?
