Hi, my name is Duke and I’m 5-6 yrs old. I came into APARN as a stray after a really nice lady called the rescue. I can’t believe no one would claim me because I’m just the nicest guy in the whole world. I get along great with everyone! In fact, the first night my foster mom brought me home, I started running around the house and yard with my other foster brothers and sisters! It’s like I was meant to be with other dogs my whole life! Now don’t get me wrong, I also love my humans. My favorite thing to do is sit on top of the couch and kiss your face all over before crashing out for a nap. I’m very friendly and love running around the dog park to meet the other doggies and get cuddles from the dog owners. I’m a pretty sociable little guy. I also get along really well with kids and I’m very gentle with them. I am fully potty trained and know how to use the dog door. I also eat like a gentleman and don’t have any naughty habits. Foster mom calls me, “Duke of Campbell Manor,” after the street we live on and because I’m so well-behaved, but she’s kind of nutty.

You may have noticed that I have an eye injury in my left eye. Unfortunately, I don’t have any vision in that eye, but the vet told APARN that it can stay in there and I shouldn’t have any problems. My vision in my other eye is just fine and I’m a very healthy and comfortable little pug. Since very little is known about my past, I recently received all of my vaccinations and I’m ready for adoption! I’m neutered, microchipped, and all ready to meet my potential forever home. Could that be you? Please come out to meet me at an upcoming adoption event soon!

Thanks,
Duke
