Well hello there, Pilgrim, My name is Duke…. Like John Wayne’s nick-name, but I’m not a cowboy, I’m a very well-behaved and sweet senior boy. I know when to ‘go outside’ and I have even learned about the doggie door in the very short time I have been at my foster house. Foster mom is surprised at how quickly I am adapting to my new home.

I used to sleep on the people bed but I’m getting the idea that I really should be sleeping on the doggie bed along with my foster brothers. Oh, about them…we’re all getting along very nicely…almost as if we had been together forever. And, you should know that I used to live with another pug, a cat and a little Chihuahua so if you have other pets, you don’t need to worry about how I’ll fit in with them.

People say I’m ten years old but foster mom and dad are amazed and can hardly believe it! I’m playful and get around just fine.

Come and see me at the events because I’m anxious to meet you and find my forever home. I know you will love me the minute you look into my big brown eyes!
