I've been Adopted!

Hi, My name is Eddie.

I’m sure you’ve noticed that I am quite the handsome boy! I am 4.5 years old, just had my teeth cleaned and had all my shots updated.

I really need a home where I will get exercise regularly. I have a lot of nervous energy and can come across as “strong” at times, so I need a dedicated and consistent owner who can nicely  remind me where I place in the pack.

I can be somewhat dominant, especially if I feel another dog is old or timid, but I have never bitten anyone!  In typical pug fashion, I LOVE my food! Maybe a little too much, as I need to be watched around children when they are eating, I’ve been known to try to take food out of a child’s hands. (Again, I stress, I have never bitten anyone!)

I am strong and can be rambunctious which can end in a young child or toddler being knocked down, but it’s not because I meant to, it is just because I am very excitable.

I can also be timid at times. For some reason, I get a little timid when you pug my harness on, and it takes me a few minutes to get used to it. It’s just one of those quirky things about me; trust me, I’ve been this way since I was a puppy, no one in my prior home was ever mean to me. They loved me very much, and always took super good care of me! My mom taught me how to use the doggy door, and I don’t mark in the house.

I can be a little anxious when left alone, and would love to have a puggy brother or sister to keep me company.
