Elaine a.k.a. “Lainey”

Rainbow Bridge Member as of February 10, 2010

I am happy to report that Lainey joined all the other pugs in Rainbow Bridge.  Happy because she is finally free from any suffering, and I am sure she has found her place in the sun. Although I only had her for six short months, she deeply touched my life.  She came to APARN filled with mast cell tumors. Although surgery was performed to remove the tumors, more appeared as quickly, and after a long battle, she was laid to rest.

Lainey spent the last six months of her life going on walks, something her previous owner indicated that she never did before. There were days when I would get the leash, that she was smart enough to go lay down, indicating that she was going to pass on walking with her pug brothers and sister, but there were other days when she was jumping at the chance to go out on a walk.

I am grateful to have known her and to have had the chance to provide her with some happiness.
