Read my story...

Hi! Iím Eleanor. My foster Mommy says Iím cute as a bug. I donít think bugs are very cute, but if she does, then who am I to argue? I know Iím cute but I like hearing it anyway!

I was really, really sick with a liver problem and I had a really scary operation, but now I am feeling much, much better. I will need to have a test mid-March to see how much Iíve recovered, but everyone feels I am definitely on the mend.

The favorite thing in my new foster house is that I have lots and lots of brothers and sisters. I never knew that playing was so much fun! I pester and bug them until someone takes the bait and wrestles with me. I can do this for a long, long time!

I also like to lie near my foster Mommy and Daddy and get belly rubs. I like to give them lots of kisses when they get their faces near mine. I love to sleep in the big bed with them and everyone else. I donít want to lie on top of my new parents; I donít even really want to touch them. Just lying nearby is plenty good enough for me.

They have a really cool gizmo here thatís called a Doggy Door! I love going in and out of it. I now can go potty whenever I want and I donít even have to ask! What a great idea!

I am on a special dry food diet for now, but after my big test in March I should be able to transition back into regular dog food. I really donít mind my special diet, itís pretty tasty. But I kind of miss regular dog food.

I talked with my foster Mommy about what a ìforever homeî is. Iím really looking forward to choosing ìforeverî parents. I probably shouldnít be with really young children because I play a lot with my teeth. I really try to be gentle, but sometimes I forget because I am feeling soooo much better! I also really want a young brother or sister dog to play with. Iím not picky. Big or small, I play with them all. Other than that Iíll probably be just perfect for my ìforever homeî. Iím now just waiting for the right family. Maybe that family is yours!
