My name is Elmer but my foster mom sometimes calls me Edgar or Eddie or Ernie … I don’t know if she is trying to be funny or she’s getting senile. Anyway.. as they say, “call me anything but don’t call me late for dinner.”  I’ll go along with that. I love to eat but I’m usually the last one done so I do have manners. (More than I can say about my foster brothers who gobble their food and then watch me in case I drop something they can grab.)

As you might notice, I’m quite handsome but I recently had my left eye removed because it was ulcerated. And another little thing, I have a limp sometimes. I don’t know what happened to me, but the Vet said I have a screw in one of my elbows and my other elbow was injured and never treated so it’s fused in such a way that I can walk on four legs but often will stand on only three. I just won’t be able to take longs walks or runs. But I do love to play. Too bad my foster brothers are a little lazy where that’s concerned. Tennis balls and stuffed toys aren’t as fun as playing roughhouse with the boys.

You will find I am nicely housebroken and use the doggy door. I also love to go outdoors and lay in the sun. Too bad it will get to be too hot for that before long.

I’m a very loving and lovable pugger. I hope you will come to an event and meet me. I really want a forever home of my own. Foster house is nice but I’m looking for something permanent, please.
