This little sweetheart was found wandering in a Southwest valley neighborhood, showing effects of heat stress and a urinary infection. It turned out she had not received care for chronic infections and had developed bladder stones. Emergency surgery removed nearly 2 cups of huge stones. The vet had never seen anything like it.
Franny is healing amazingly quickly and is far more active and playful then her age of 10 would indicate.
She seems so grateful to be in a cool comfortable environment. She gets along well with the other pugs and would do well with some other small dogs for company.
She is still on a number of medications to clear up the infection but long term should do well. Frannie should remain on canned food for added moisture to keep her bladder healthy. She quickly learned the doggy door and seems smart and willing to please. She loves to snuggle and may steal a kiss or two. She’d love to make her forever home with you.
