Read my story...

Hi, my name is Gordon. I am approximately 2 years old.

A very nice APARN volunteer saw me at the humane society and was able to get me released to APARN.

My first day was scary and busy. I was taken to a wonderful animal hospital because I have a broken leg. The nice people there did two surgeries on me. One was to fix my broken leg. The other one was called a “snip”(nurtured) I don’t know what that means except I lost something I didn’t need anyway. I have an ear infection. The same vet gave me some medicine for it.

My second day with APARN I was picked up at the hospital by my new foster mom and dad. I will stay with them for at least 6 weeks while my leg heals.

I have to stay in a crate most of the time. But it is not so bad. I can see outside and sometimes my foster pug sisters get to come and say hello.. When I do go for my potty walks, I always get love time with my foster family. I am not really use not to a lot of touching. But I really like it. I might even become a lover boy.

I am a good boy, now. I don’t bark unless I need to potty.

I am a very active boy. I would love to run and play if I could. I like to be played with while I am being held now. I am really looking forward to playing fetch and long walks.

I am a little on the thin side. The best part of being in this APARN foster home is the food. It is great and I get it twice a day every day.

I am looking for a forever home. If you are interested in adopting me please don’t wait for 6 weeks to contact APARN.You will need to fill out an adoption application, talk to our matchmaker and get a home check done. It would be great to know I have a forever home waiting for me. I even bet it would help me heal faster. My foster mom says she would be glad to help you meet me sometime.

I would make a great pug for someone who wants a young, fun friend.
