Hello, my name is Gus and I am very pleased to meet you!

Foster mom says I am one of the best mannered pugs she has fostered in a long time. I am only 18 months old and my birthday is 9-16-2009, which makes me a Virgo, and those born under this sign often have a quiet dignity about them.

I was used to eating a little too much at my previous home, so foster mom has me on a reduced meal plan, which basically means dog food only twice a day, and no handouts from the table!  She says pugs tend to gain weight pretty easily, and that can be hard on a pug’s joints as well as its trachea, so I am working hard to get the excess weight off and want to keep it off!  I love to go on walks on a leash, so that will be a good way for my new owner to help me stay healthy, and they can also benefit from walking!

I really love sitting on a lap and snuggling. I get along great with the other pugs here, so if my new home has a dog or two, that would be just fine, however, I would also be just fine being the only dog! Foster mom doesn’t have any cats, but I am so easy going she says I probably wouldn’t object to them.

I love to play, and I just really want to live with someone who has time for me. I need play time, walk time and snuggle time! Please fill out the adoption application and send it in.  Be sure to make a note that you would like to meet Gus!
