Hi, My name is Harley, and I am a fawn and black 11 year old female pug. I am laid back, loving and tolerant of people and the resident dogs in my foster home. I came into rescue when my human became ill and unable to keep me. I have a funny looking eye that was a deformity from birth, and a small fatty tumor on my back leg. Neither of these things bother me and certainly don’t slow me down! In fact, I am more active than my 7 year old foster sister, and I have no bad habits unless you call loving to eat a bad habit! I call it a healthy interest in what the cook has placed before me, and at the end of the meal, I kiss my paw and give my compliments to the chef, not leaving a single morsel on my plate!

I started using the doggie door from the first day I arrived, and have not had a single accident in the house! (Foster mom says she wishes her own pugs were so well mannered!)  I sleep in a doggie bed all night long, and I may start out in an unoccupied one, but by morning my foster mom finds me curled up in a bed with one of the other pugs. It’s a little magic act I do, no one has figured it out yet. I’m quite good at slight of hand! Watch out Chris Angel, Harley the pug is headlining for APARN!
