Hi, my name is Hillary. Yep, like the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton! Did you know the name Hillary means cheerful? Well I am certainly that!

I am a happy little 4 year old girl, and love hanging out with my people. I also like to play with other dogs, and I don’t mind cats. As you might have noticed in my photos, I am a bit chubby, but foster mom started me on a reduced portion of some good healthy dog kibble, and I am pretty sure I have already lost half a pound! Hey, don’t laugh, it may not be much for you, but when you only weigh 24 pounds, it all adds up! So I want my new family to continue my journey to good health and commit to helping me lose the rest of the weight, and most importantly keep it off.

I came to rescue because my former family could no longer care for me, and they wanted to make sure I got a great new home, so they contacted APARN, and here I am. I am currently being treated for an ear infection (both ears) and a yeast infection on my paw pads. Pretty simple treatment, and I am a pretty good girl about my ear drops. Foster mom says she has seen lots worse. Oh, I don’t mean worse ears, I mean worse behaved pugs when getting their ear medicine!

I am housebroken, and happy to say I only had one accident in the house when I first came here. I am a sweet girl, and just love to sit on your lap, or under your chair. I am a typical pug, I just want to be wherever you are. Are you looking for a cheerful, well mannered pug who will give you her total commitment to love you forever?
