Hi, my name is Hoshi.

I am a very, very handsome 8 year old boy. I am a little overweight, ok, make that a lot overweight. The vet-lady says I need to lose 10 pounds. I’ve already lost one, so I am on the way.

I’m really active, I just wasn’t getting enough exercise in my previous home. I love to go, for walks, car rides, you name it. I would really like a buddy to play with and hang out with. In my previous home, my best buddy was a big dog, but I don’t care, I just would like someone who will play with me and who likes to hang out.

The big dog here is kind of snotty, she doesn’t want to play with me and she won’t share her toys, but I play with them anyway when she’s not looking. I like toys, I get along with everyone, big dogs, small dogs and cats. I really like my crate, and am crate trained, but at my foster home there always seems to be a cat sleeping in my crate! 

My favorite places to sleep are on the hard floor or on the pillows on the back of the couch. When I’m not busy playing, I will lay at your feet and snooze.  if I can find a home where I can enjoy a normal activity level, I’m sure keeping my weight at a healthy level will be a breeze.

I’m not really food motivated and don’t beg for people food or cookies. I’m a really easy going fellow and don’t have any bad habits to speak of. The foster mom here says I’m an easy keeper, whatever that means.
