I’m Iris, a 1 year old sweet as can be little lady with lots of energy and love to give! Everyone that meets me tells me how little and cute I am but I’m trying not to let that go to my head. But really, I am pretty adorable. I’m newly spayed and no one at the vet’s office wanted to see me go. I’m a social girl and love to make new friends.

I love everybody including kids, other dogs and even cats. I think the cat secretly likes me too but won’t admit it. I love to grab one of my little stuffed toys and try to get my foster brother or sister to play with me. I wear my foster brother out but he just keeps coming back for more.

When I’m not being silly, I love some nice quiet time sitting right by your side. I love to cuddle and give kisses. Always the pleaser, I know a few tricks like sitting and staying. I can even fetch! I’m smart as a whip but I get a little shy about going potty and may have an accident or two. My foster mom has learned that I don’t like to be watched when I potty. I’ll go outside only but privacy please! After all, I AM a lady. I love when she praises me for doing a good job and I get excited and twirl around like a ballerina. I’m very graceful, you know.
