Jack. Yep that’s me.

Foster Mom does not understand why I have such a plain ole name when I am such a special, handsome dude.

It’s ok. I like simplicity.

  • Good food
  • Walks to see other people and dogs
  • A nice lap to lay in
  • A basket full of toys to play with

I do not need much care. I am in good health. No daily medications but like any pug, I am careful that Foster Mom gives me heartworm preventative. Yuck, I do not want those nasty worm things in my body!

Like any pug, I need my ears cleaned and nose wrinkle washed, but outside of that, I am pretty low maintenance.

I know how to use the doggie door, but I still prefer Foster Mom to come out with me. She can’t seem to fit thru the doggie door so she has to open the big door, which is fine by me because I do not like getting hit in the face by the dog door flaps.

I must admit, I am not a morning pug. Foster Mom gets up early, before the sun comes up and takes all my foster brothers and sisters for a walk. Not me! I like to hide under the covers. She eventually finds me and makes me get my exercise. As I said, I like walks but I do not understand why they have to be at 6:00am.

Did I mention that I get along with other dogs and enjoy a good game of tug of war?

I like to chase cats. I think I would like to play with them, but foster mom says I am not allowed to chase them. Well if they would stay put they might find they like me as well.

After all, I’m Jack. A pretty simple guy with a simple name to remember. So please, come to an event or call APARN and ask how to meet me.
