Hi, My name is Jaxson, pretty cool spelling of my name don’t you think? My foster mom will call me Action Jaxson, as I am always on the the move.

She also calls me her “miracle” foster. If it hadn’t been for APARN I wouldn’t be here to tell you my story.

I just turned a year old, but at 9 months old I was diagnosed with Parvo, my previous owners didn’t realize how important it was to get me my puppy vaccinations. My previous owner just couldn’t afford the very expensive and not really good odds in surviving. APARN decided to go ahead and take me in and try to save my life, well as you can see here I am. The best part, if you want to think of something positive that came out of this, is I can never ever get Parvo again and I am not contagious to anyone at all.

I love my people so very much, I will kiss you until there is no tomorrow. I get along with everyone, every dog and kids.

I can’t go to a home that is going to make me very active. You see, I am a Parvo survivor, but I was just diagnosed with a collapsing trachea.

The odds are not in my favor for a long life with the collapsing trachea, but there is a surgery that can be preformed. It’s like a person with heart issues, they can put a stent into my trachea and that will help so it doesn’t collapse. APARN just can’t afford the surgery, but I am hoping someone out there will be able to and will want to adopt me so they can take care of me and give me a nice long life.
