Hi, my name is Jayke and I’m just about the nicest little puggie in the whole world…or at least that’s what my foster mommy tells me. I bet she tells all her fosters that though.
I’m 2 yrs old and perfectly healthy, although I really need to lose a little weight, so foster mom is helping me with this. That reminds me, I’d like to take this opportunity to let all of you out there know not to let your pets get overweight. I’m a young boy and I’d like to be able to keep up with the other young pugs in my foster home. Being overweight affects everything from breathing to overall lifespan, so now that I’ve given my puggy lecture, let’s talk more about me (I’m so wise for 2 yrs old!).
I’m a fairly active little guy and I get along great with children, adults, dogs, cats, you name it! I’m very submissive and gentle with my fellow pug friends in foster care. I like a lot of attention, as most pugs do, so maybe my forever home will have some kids or another dog to play with and keep me company?
I’m completely potty trained and know how to use the dog door and I’m very well mannered when it comes to feeding time, walking on a leash, and riding in the car. I’m also a big love bug. My favorite thing to do is sit on your lap and kiss your face. I also like a good tummy rub and am perfectly content just watching tv with you on the couch, but foster mom says I really need to start going on daily walks, especially when the weather is nice.
I’ve got a lot of love to give, so please come out to the next APARN event and see how cute I am in person.
