Hello, are you looking for a pretty fawn female that is still active at 8 yrs old? Look no further, I’m your girl!

I came into Rescue a bit overweight at 27 lbs. and was told I am to be in a foster home that runs the canine version of “The Biggest Loser.” Good grief, they weren’t kidding! I am on a strict, low calorie diet and exercise is the mantra in this house. Since I will be getting into the habit of being healthy, I want a forever home committed to keeping up the regimen. And to tell the truth I really do like walking in the cool of the day. Just remember to use my harness connected to my leash and not to my collar. (It’s that trachea problem with us pugs, I hear.)

I sleep all night in a crate at my foster home although I think being with you is nicer. That’s why pugs are called the Velcro dog, we just always want to be right next to our people! I get along with other small dogs, both boys and girls. I’m polite, not dominant at all, housetrained to a doggy door at the foster home, and am just the best of the best. As far as kids or cats, I’m sure if they are older and very polite like me we will do fine.

Take a look at my pictures here and come see me at the adoption events - you will see how smiley I am. Isn’t my tilted head the cutest! Fill out your application for JAZMYN and I’ll be waiting for YOU.
