Hi! I’m Jerome and I’m about one year old.
I am full of energy and love to play. My foster mommy says I’m a little wiggle worm, although I’m not that little. I already weigh 20 lbs!
Today I went to the doctor to get neutered, get my shots, and have my hernia fixed. I’ll be as good as new after that. Other than that, the doctor says that I’m a very healthy guy, and a real cutie…and he’s a trained professional! You have to see my pearly whites…I have a beautiful smile! I love getting my teeth brushed at night. That’s my favorite part about getting ready for bed.
I love playing with my foster siblings. We run around together all day long. I definitely would like my forever family to have someone for me to play with…I just hope they can keep up with me! I’m learning how to play fetch and I love chew toys. I’m really good at walking on a leash, too! I sleep through the night in my crate and never have accidents in the house. I wear a bellyband inside so I’m not tempted to “leave my mark”. All of my other business is done outside. I think I have the hang of this “housebroken” thing, but just to be sure, my foster parents let me outside often.
Foster mommy says I’m one of the happiest puppies she’s ever known. She also says I’m a sloppy drinker. Sometimes I step right into my water bowl while I’m drinking. But in my defense, it’s hot here in Arizona, and being a former stray I learned that water is hard to come by in the desert. I like to lie down in the puddles I drip. It feels good! And after all, it’s just water, right? It’ll dry.
So if you’re looking for a furry wild child, I’m the guy for you.
Come check me out at one of our events or contact us. I can’t wait to meet you!
