Kip
ADOPTED
I've been Adopted!
Adopted: August 2008Click on pug picture for larger image

Kip’s success story began before we even knew Kip existed. We already had a pug named Bella. We were noticing she needed a friend, didn’t matter brother or sister. My husband Erin had told me we couldn’t get another pug until our son Alex was potty trained and around 2 years old. Alex wasn’t even 18 months old yet! One day, Erin looked at Bella and said “you need a friend”. I quickly went to the APARN website and checked for adoptable pugs. There were a few likely candidates. So, I contacted APARN about adopting a pug (there were only 3 pugs that were up for consideration). I got contacted by APARN about adopting Kip. Little did we know that within a week of APARN receiving my adoption forms that we would be seeing Kip. We made the trip to see him (8/2/08), and immediately knew that Kip would be Bella’s little brother. Ever since then whatever Bella does, Kip does. Wherever Bella goes, Kip goes. One little fact we were not aware of with Kip - he tends to fart (silent but deadly). So now his name is “Kipper the Ripper Snapper”. It took him all of one day to learn to use the doggy door. He does have one fetish - shoes? We can’t explain that one. Oh also, he’s the “lover boy”. Wherever you are, whatever you are doing - he’s right there! Our home is complete (with pugs).
Thank you APARN.
