Hi, I’m Kizzie! It’s a pretty cute name and I’m a pretty cute pug, so it’s really a good match for me!  I am a little pug, only 15 pounds. I have a scar on one eye from a previous injury, but I still have some vision in that eye. I did test positive for tick fever*, but am undergoing treatment (antibiotics) and when I am clear of that, I can be spayed. After that, I will be adoptable!

I came to APARN from a shelter, so we really don’t know much about my past, other than I had puppies not too long ago. Foster mom says I don’t ever have to have puppies again, I am glad!  I am a quiet pug. I like to sit with you and watch tv, although I really don’t watch too much, I just like to hang out with you. I also like to sit up on top of the sofa or up on the back of your recliner. Foster mom said she doesn’t want me to sit there, but I just pretended like I didn’t hear her!

I get along very well with the other pugs in my foster home, both male and female. I am a typical pug in a lot of ways. I like to eat and I like to hang out with my people. If you think you might like to be my forever family, please fill out the APARN adoption application and be sure to mention my name!

*Dogs can get tick fever when infected ticks bite them and feed on them. The best way to prevent it is to make sure your dog is free of ticks, and use some kind of preventative on your dog, which will keep the ticks from biting it. If you don’t use something like Frontline or Advantage, check your dog daily for ticks.
