My name is Lettie…and I’m the special girl you have been looking for!

The vet thought I was about 6 years old when he spayed me and gave me all the shots. I am close to 20 lbs but I’m solid…no jiggling fat on me! I’m a healthy girl, get along with the others in my foster home, sleep nicely in a crate at night, and am housetrained. I’m learning the doggy door so I’ll be all set when I get to your house. I love to take the early morning walks before it gets too hot and also do pretty well on a leash that’s hooked to my harness. (I’ve heard some horror stories about the pug’s collapsing trachea with the leash connected to their collars.)

I am very good with older children and will let them dress me up, carry me around, and pet me all over. The only thing is, please make sure they do not poke me in the wrong places, such as eyes and ears, as that can cause a lot of pain. My foster mama has lots of toys that I really like to play with and if you throw a ball, I would really like to chase it! As for my demeanor, if you cannot tell by now, I am very laid back and do not bark that much. I am in good health, I took my meds like a good pug, and quickly got over an infected anal gland. This is a good reason why you should have your pugs anal glands expressed regularly, so they do not get infected like mine did.

I do love to be right with you and once I get to know you will give lots of kisses.  So, don’t waste any more time looking at others…I’m the one! Fill out that application now.

Love,  Lettie
