Introducing Liam the wonder pug! He-he, my foster mom said I should say that to get the attention of you pug lovers out there! Anyway, as I said, my name is Liam and I am a gorgeous, healthy 1-1/2 year male fawn pug. You would think at only 1-1/2 years old that I’d be a pretty hyper, crazy, chewing little pistol. Well, guess what? I’m just a laid back, happy, loving little guy. Foster mom says I need to put on a couple of pounds which is a bit of a switch for a pug. I guess the pugs that come to live here are sometimes chubby, but that’s sure not a problem with me.
I’ve had a couple of homes in recent days and now I just want to find my forever home where I don’t have to worry about moving again. I like it here with all the other pugs and we get along really well and like to play together, but I’d sure like to have my own home. See, I really want to sleep on the bed with you, but Foster Mom says we fosters aren’t allowed to do that because maybe my new mom and/or dad will want me to sleep in my own bed and won’t want to have to break me of that habit. Foster mom says I need to be on my best behavior and be really, really well mannered so all those nice pug lovers will think I’m so wonderful that they just have to take me home!
I love, love, love attention, but what pug doesn’t? I’m housebroken and even know how to use the doggy door, so I sure won’t be much trouble at all when I come to live with you. When I first got here, I thought I’d try that marking thing a time or two, but Foster Mom says we boys aren’t allowed to do that or we have to wear those belly band things, so I decided it wasn’t such a good idea. I love sitting in your lap and being petted, but I’m also very content to lay right at your feet. I enjoy a little game of tug-of-war with soft toys, too. I like to chase toys when you throw them, but we’re still working on the bringing them back part!
I’ll be attending a bunch of those APARN adoption events until the right new forever home comes along to take me home with them. Those things really wear me out, so please come see me soon and ask the cool APARN people to let you adopt me so I don’t have to go to too many of those things and I can spend my time sitting in your lap instead!
