Hi there, my name is Lucie and I’ve got some “splainin’ ” to do.

I came into Rescue with my young pal, Ricky. Now to you get it…Ricky & Lucie…from “I Love Lucy?”

Well anyway, I’m 4 years old and if I must say so myself, I am beautiful and unique with my apricot coloring even if the pictures here don’t show it. I could stand to drop about 3 lbs., but a strict diet and exercise should take care of that little problem. Our mantra here at APARN is that “pugs shouldn’t be fat.” I’m a healthy girl overall and just had a dental exam.

I get along with other well-mannered dogs both young and old, and would love to have a new family that has a small dog or two willing to play with me. It doesn’t have to be all the time, but a little play each day would be great. My foster home has old timers who can’t run and play. We don’t know yet if I like kids or cats.

I’ve got great house manners, I’m doggy door trained, sleep in the crate at night as long as I can see you, and I’m glued to you during the day. My favorite place to relax is on the top of the couch behind your neck.
