Read my story...

Madrox is a handsome 3 year old boy. He was an owner surrender. His former owner said he could be aggressive, so Madrox probably needs a forever home without young children.

He was a little standoffish at first in his foster home, but there were a lot of other dogs and commotion. Madrox was probably overwhelmed. Once he started to bond with his foster family (over food, of course!) then Madrox has shown a charming, impish side to his character.

Madrox thinks he’s part mountain goat. His objective is to be perched on the highest item in the room! He enjoys the shelves and the desk. He explores his new surroundings and then settles down to observe the household.

Madrox is a little gentleman. He is using the doggy door, knows the command sit and waits nicely for treats. He does want an extra dose of attention from his foster Mom, to reassure him that all is all right.

He’s a beautiful boy. The pictures do not do him justice. He is mid-sized and carries a very healthy weight.

Madrox would like to get settled into his forever home quickly. He’s spent the past few months being moved from home to home and now he wants a permanent family to belong to. Are you that family?

My adoption fee is $275.00

Update:

Hi everyone! My name is Maddy (aka Madrox) and I was adopted into my forever home in December of 2008. I joined my Pug sister Rita and older brother Fillmore (Jack Russell), and since I came here we gave another Jack Russell a forever home. Her name is Chelsea.

I’ve settled into things here pretty well and have discovered that I really am a momma’s boy. I just love to be in her lap no matter what she’s doing, and I sometimes get impatient when I can’t get in it right away.  I’m quite laid back compared to the other kids in the family and have earned the nickname Hippy Pug because of it. But I don’t mind as long as I keep getting love and treats. I sure do like my treats and food and I’ve learned how to shake and speak to get them.

Mommy is very proud of me but says that I still need to calm down when the food comes out. I just get so excited I can’t help it. I LOVE FOOD! I brought mom, dad and sister Rita to Pugstock last week to show off my new family. I know everyone was jealous of me!

Thank you APARN for finding me my forever family that loves me so much.

Here are some pictures of me in my new house.
