Read my story...

Hi my name is Madge, like the old Palmolive commercial for those of you old enough to remember, I can’t even remember because I am 3 years old, but that’s what I heard my foster mom saying.

Speaking of my foster mom, I heard her on the phone with the President of APARN telling her that I was a chunky monkey, she has a lot of nerve just because I weigh in at 27 lbs! She said pugs are not suppose to be fat like people think they are. Well I have news for her, I am low to the ground and can only see up so far and let me tell you, I see a lot of pounds on the back side!

She has me on a diet, yuk! but the good news is I know that my knees will feel so much better when I get down to about 18 lbs and will need to stay at that weight the rest of my life.

I get a long great with other dogs, just a little shy at first, but by the second day I am just like part of the pack. I love to go on rides, but have to be lifted out of the car I just don’t want to get out.
