Hi, our names our Marilu (female in pink harness) and Dover (male in black harness).

We are brother and sister, and we are best friends! We are never more than a few feet from other. We are very quiet pugs, in fact, foster mom says she hasn’t heard either of us bark yet, and we have lived with her for almost a week! The other pugs here bark sometimes, but we don’t join in. We love going out in the backyard and exploring! We just have lots of fun together. Foster mom says that we have to be adopted together. She says we would be too sad otherwise.  She says there is nothing worse than a sad pug!

We are both a little overweight, so foster mom is helping us lose a few pounds by putting us on good food, and less of it. I think she is confused, because she offered us something that looks like pebbles. She calls it kibbles. We are used to food that comes in a can, so she has been nice enough to give us some canned food with the kibble stuff, but if we run out of the good stuff, we sometimes leave the rest of the little kibble things.

Oh, I guess I should tell you that we do have a weird habit or two. We like to lay on the coffee table! Yep. Foster mom is trying to get us to stick with the sofa or the dog bed, but we just like the coolness of the coffee tables, esp. after we clear them off!  Same with the sofa. Too many pillows are bad! We just kind of push those off on the floor, so we can stretch out. It just feels better that way! Foster mom won’t let us sit up on the top of the back of the sofa, either. She has lots of rules.

We want to find our forever home in time for Christmas. Please consider adopting us. We are good dogs, well behaved (ok, except for the coffee table thing) and very calm and quiet. Please come meet us at an event soon!
We’ll be waiting for you!
