Hello – I am an 11 month old boy (born Jan 3, 2009) who was turned in by people no longer able to afford me (or, sadly, their home).

I was loved and cared for, but I am not completely housebroken, and (according to my foster mom) can use some socialization and discipline. I have gone from being an only pug to being in a home where there are quite a lot of other pugs, and I get along with all of them (except Miss Randi, who doesn’t like anyone), but frankly they are all old and boring – no one wants to play with me and I would like someone – anyone – to play with!

Foster mom takes me on walks, which are great fun, and on car rides so that I can learn car rides do not always lead to bad things. We went to the dog park and I could run with the big dogs – well, mostly running away from them – they’re really big! I am content in my crate at night and when foster mom is not home, and I am learning not to lift my leg when I have this funny belly band on (I like to think of it as a karate belt).

I have all my shots and have been “nipped and tucked” so I am ready to find my new home. My foster family is giving me lots of love and attention, but I would really like a forever home, maybe one where there is another young dog or young person who would want to play with me. I am a happy boy, a little slow to warm up to new people, but once I do, I’ll give lots of pug kisses. Maybe I’ll see you at an APARN event soon!
