Hi, I’m Mirna Loy! No, not the famous movie actress, although I must say, I am quite a beauty, aren’t I?

Let me tell you, looks don’t always get you everything you need. As pretty as I am, I found myself at…of all places…the county shelter! The nice people at APARN came and got me, and told me they were going to help me start a new life.

So I am now in foster care, which means I live with some nice APARN volunteers who take care of me, another foster pug, and their own two pugs. So I have a few new pug friends and I like them all okay. But what I would really like is to find my new family and get started in my new life! I am trying to learn something called the “doggy door” which is an interesting device. I am reserving judgement on it until I’ve tried it a few more times.

Please come to an event soon and meet me. But don’t be persuaded by my looks alone; you’ll want to get to know the real me, and I promise I’m as nice as I am pretty.
