Hi!  My name is Mocha and I am about 3 yrs old.  I know “mocha” means brown..and I am a super-silky black pug…but that is the name I came into my foster home with.

My story is pretty sad. I was being kept in a cage outside in the Arizona heat! A nice lady noticed and told my old people that they couldn’t do that to me. So the old people said, “Fine you take him!” So they nice lady did! She gave me to her daughter who made sure I made it into rescue with APARN.

I am a water pug! We don’t know if I can swim or if I would jump into a pool because there isn’t one at my foster home. But, I LOVE to take showers, play in my water dish and to just be a wet pug!

I know how to use a doggy door and I am working on going potty outside only. I make it most of the time. I’ve only been an inside pug for a few weeks and I have been learning the inside manners very quickly!

I sleep very quietly all night in my kennel. No night crying!

I jump right on into my foster mommy’s big Tahoe. I am good in the car and actually like to stick my head in the crack in the window to feel the warm breeze! I know “sit” already and am working on learning more people words every day. I LOVE to go for walks!  Even though it is hot out I want to RUN as fast as my foster mommy can walk around the block - walks are very exciting!

I am a big boy….27 pounds! I am working on losing a couple by eating only healthy dog food and snacks. It has been rumored that I was given fried foods by my old people but I don’t miss eating that kind of stuff at all.

I will need a forever home that has one or more dogs to play with and they don’t even have to be pugs! My favorite foster brother is a big dog! I LOVE to play all day long! I really adore kids of all sizes.

I am already neutered, have had my shots & exams. I have a little ear infection and am being treated for it. I am ready to find my new forever home!

Come meet me at an APARN adoption event!
